Breakfast in Karaksa Hotel Osaka Namba
Restaurant/places to eat in Karaksa Hotel Osaka Namba
Property building in Karaksa Hotel Osaka Namba
This is our second time to stay at Karaksa Hotel, this time around, I brought my family including my 80 year old mother. Location still was magnificent, my mom appreciated that most of the shops were very near, and food options were numerous. Very near Dotonbori, everything is walking distance. Breakfast was great, lots of options to choose from. It was nice that they would change some of the viands daily, but there were the usual constants that we liked. We appreciated the free drinks 24 hours of the day as well, plus the snacks that were unlimited all day. They also allowed you to bring food from outside and eat at the dining area, perfect when my kids wanted a late snack from McDonald's. Staff were very kind, check in and check out was very easy. They allowed us to do late checkout on one of our rooms for a small fee. Lots of stuff to do nearby, there's a Family Mart right around the corner, a McDonald's that's open at 5AM, and a grocery nearby. Lots of ramen places and yakitori and takoyaki places open late very near the hotel. Train stations are also quite near as well. The free toiletries that you could pick up in the lobby were so helpful as well, most of the things that you would need were there already. Room was spacious, bathroom and toilet were great, they were separate, so that saved a lot of time, when you're rushing in the morning. It met our expectation, most hotels in Japan don't really have much space, but this one did. I think this will always be our go-to hotel whenever we go to Osaka.

The location was perfect: not far from Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi, the exciting area in Osaka, but far enough to ensure it wasn't crowded or noisy! Additionally, the property was in between 2 stations Shinsaibashi and Namba, which was perfect as these 2 areas were our main shopping and walking routes! Room wise, it was a little small but there was sufficient space for my wife and I! The bed was comfortable and large, the bathroom was sufficient, and the aircon was working perfectly! Additionally, the room was clean and smelled great and fresh! Also, loved that they had a mini pantry at the first floor check-in where they offer snacks and hot drinks for free! The staff was also very friendly and guided us through the check-in process efficiently and quickly! They were always happy to help and really appreciated their quick responses when I messaged them through the Booking.com app!

I absolutely loved the hotel. It’s not very big and not very fancy, but lots of positives . It’s so central to lots of food and shopping. The train station is a seven minute walk. All the staff were very friendly and so helpful. One of the front desk staff took a lot of time in helping me figure out how to get to the island of Nijigen no Mori (Godzilla and Naruto theme park location) from the hotel. The breakfast options were great, various western and Japanese items. They had a soda fountain and snacks located in the common area, all complementary. Of all the hotels I stayed at in Japan (and I stayed at some higher end ones), this was my favorite. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Angela

I highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was impeccably clean. For me personally, it's the little things that count, like providing free razors, toothbrushes and combs for guests who might have forgotten theirs, also free coffee or drinks were available in the lobby at all hours and free water was available on each of the hotel floors. The room itself was large for Japanese standards with a very comfy large bed. The bathroom and toilet were separate rooms, which is a big plus. The hotel was close enough to the night life, food and shopping in downtown Dotonbori but far enough to be nice and quiet at night. The metro station, Shinsaibashi, was a brisk walk away.

Well located, close to the main attractions and subway stations. local restaurants close by. shopping areas not too far away. convenience stores just down the street. Lobby area is well kept with water dispensers placed on several different floor for easy access. welcome snacks and drinks/sodas were a nice quality of life addition. employees are always so welcoming and warm. the washroom has a waterfall wash head option, very relaxing. sleeping clothes were nice and comfy along with high quality home slippers
